A Complicated Relationship
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have a complicated relationship to say the least. The exes share a daughter -- 1 year old True -- but broke up after Thompson repeatedly cheated on Kardashian, particularly with their family friend Jordyn Woods.
However, Thompson has made it pretty clear through flirty Instagram comments and other amorous behavior that he would like to get back together with Kardashian. However, a source told Perez Hilton that Kardashian is NOT interested.
"Tristan is very charming and sweet to Khloé. She always wanted to keep her family together because of True. Splitting from Tristan in the past was extremely difficult for her. She is flattered that he is trying to win her back, but not flattered enough to be in a romantic relationship with him."
Dedicated To Co-Parenting
The source continued, explaining that Kardashian plays nice for the sake of their daughter.
"Who knows what will happen in the future though. Right now she is focused on just getting along with him so they can have the best family time together with True."
Kardashian has opened up in the past on Jay Shetty's podcast On Purpose about how dedicated she is to co-parenting, even when it can be difficult at times.
"Oh, it’s hard. It’s not easy for me. You know, it would be easier for me to keep my daughter away... but he never hurt True. Him and I have our own relationship and then Tristan and True have theirs, and I will never come in between that. I don’t believe in that."
She's Happy Being Single
Kardashian also made it clear to Shetty that she is not ready to dive back into the dating pool with anyone. She has a surprisingly zen attitude about finding love, honestly.
"I haven’t jumped into dating,” she explained. “I don’t care to date right now. I’m not in a rush for it. I feel so good in my life and I don’t really need much else. So, something that I’m focusing on is just making sure that I process everything."
She's Forgiven Thompson
While she may not want to let Thompson back into her life romantically, Kardashian recently explained on Instagram that she forgives him and that she no longer holds his behavior against him.
"I have chosen to NOT pollute my heart and my energy by holding onto anything negative. Forgiveness is a strength and not a weakness. I am allowed to forgive people but still not accept their behaviors. I’m also allowed to protect my space. I am allowed to choose who I want in my life and who I do not. I’m also allowed to wish people well and sincerely mean it. Doesn’t mean I have to be their best friend. I want nothing but beautiful blessings for EVERYBODY that has ever been in my life. Regardless of what they have done or not done to me."
