Khloe Kardashian's daughter's name is True Thompson: 'Mommy and Daddy love you!'

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have chosen an alliterative name for their baby -- but is she a Kardashian or a Thompson?

We got the official answer on Monday: Welcome to the world, True Thompson!

"Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE," Khloe tweeted. "Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!"

The name may seem random, but it's actually anything but! Kris Jenner's paternal grandfather's name was True Otis Houghton, and her dad's name was Robert True Houghton.

The name, of course, has proven a bit ironic given the circumstances of True's birth: The big reveal comes about a week after Tristan's repeated infidelity was publicly outed.

Khloe has not yet publicly commented on the bombshell videos that showed Tristan with other women in recent months, and there have been mixed reports about the status and future of their relationship.

That said, Tristan was present at the hospital when Khloe gave birth.

Earlier this year, younger sister Kylie gave birth to her first child, Stormi Webster, giving her baby the last name of her boyfriend. Kim Kardashian-West and Kourtney Kardashian also gave their children the last names of their fathers.

Will Rob Kardashian's baby, Dream, be the only Kardashian spawn to retain the famous last name? Guess we'll have to just wait for more pregnancies to find out.
