Khloé Kardashian is a mom of two!

The Kardashians star's daughter, True Thompson, was born in April 2018. Then, in August 2022, she welcomed her son, Tatum, via surrogate. Kardashian shares both her children with ex Tristan Thompson. The parents have not been a couple since June 2021.

In March 2023, despite their tumultuous past, Kardashian wished Thompson a happy 32nd birthday on Instagram.

"You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you'll ever know to your family of littles," she captioned several images of the basketball star with his kids and family members. "Happy birthday baby daddy."

From her firstborn's birth to her son's arrival, here's everything to know about Khloé Kardashian's two kids.

True, 6

True was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on April 12, 2018 — just days after news broke that Thompson had allegedly been unfaithful to Kardashian.

The idea for the baby's name was initially a suggestion from Kardashian's grandmother, Mary Jo "M.J." Houghton.

"She told me it was my great-grandfather's first name and my grandfather's middle name. It stuck with me for my entire pregnancy and was the only one I couldn't get out of my head," the Good American founder recalled. "I love that it's a family name."

But her name isn't the only thing True has inherited from her family. Kardashian says her daughter is already following in her footsteps in the organization department.

"I am incredibly clean and organized. I like everything in its place. I'm very regimented. And I don't want that for True, but she already has so much of that," she shared in November 2021 during a "Mom Confessions" segment on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "I feel bad that she has so much of it so young, but every toy has to be put back exactly where she got it from."

True also takes after her mother when it comes to her fashion sense. Kardashian and her daughter love making memories together while wearing matching outfits, from glam party looks to bathing suits and pajamas.

Despite the ups and downs between Kardashian and Thompson over the years, the former Cleveland Cavaliers player has remained an active part of True's life. "The focus is on True and they have the same goals for her," a source told PEOPLE in April 2022. "They want her to have the happiest childhood possible."

True turned 4 years old in April 2022. Thompson couldn't attend her birthday party due to a basketball game, so he had a present delivered to Kardashian's house. The gift, a diamond necklace, was estimated to cost $25,000.

In April 2023, True turned 5, and Kardashian admitted on Instagram that she's "NOT OK" with the fact that her daughter is growing up so fast.

"True has changed my life in ways I could never express," she wrote alongside a few throwback photos of True as a baby. "I am so emotional over her getting older."

Emotions were high, yet again, when True wrote and illustrated a story called "My Mother: A True Story" as a gift for Kardashian on Mother's Day in May 2024.

In July 2022, a rep for Kardashian confirmed to PEOPLE that she was expecting her second child with Thompson via surrogate. "We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November," the rep shared. "Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."

A source told PEOPLE, "The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloé and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December."

On Aug. 5, 2022, PEOPLE confirmed that Kardashian and Thompson's baby boy had arrived. A source told PEOPLE that Kardashian was on "cloud nine" and taking her time in choosing a moniker for the new arrival.

"Khloé hasn't shared a name yet," the source said. "She is taking her time with the name. She wants it to be just right."

Soon after her son's birth, The Kardashians star opened up to Elle about becoming a mom of two.

"I know it's cliché, but I love everything, even the hard parts," Kardashian said of having two children. The Good American founder said her two little ones "challenge me as a person," adding that "being able to shape little people into really incredible big people is an honor and a gift."

During the season 2 premiere of The Kardashians on Hulu, the reality star also gave a look into her son's birth. Her sister Kim captured the sweet moments at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, in lieu of a camera crew.

"He looks just like True," Kim can be heard yelling, as the surrogate brought Kardashian's second child into the world.

While Kardashian had been on the fence about allowing Thompson to even visit the hospital for the birth of his son, it was revealed in the episode that the basketball player was present for the big day.

The boy's name, Tatum, was later revealed on the season 3 premiere of The Kardashians. During a conversation with James Corden at an 818 Tequila event, cameras captured Kardashian sharing her son's name publicly for the first time.

"Naming a human is really hard," she said.

Also in the episode, Kardashian also admitted that welcoming her son via surrogacy was "hard for me" and said that she felt less connected to Tatum than she did to True after she was born.

"It's a mindf---. It's really the weirdest thing," the reality star said.

In October 2022, Kardashian opened up about her experience having her son through surrogacy. She said she was inspired by her sister Kim, who welcomed two children with the help of a surrogate. "If it wasn't for Kimberly, I definitely don't think I would have been as comfortable," Khloé told Kelly Clarkson on her daytime talk show. "I wouldn't have been aware, I wouldn't have known as much."

Still, the Good American founder noted that her experience was "very different" than her sister's. "I think her journey was way more ... it was just more comfortable for her," the reality star added. "I'm such a control freak."

"You're a stranger, I just have to trust you," Kardashian continued. "I love my surrogate, she was amazing. But I'm still like, 'I need you sitting next to me all the time. What are you doing? What are you eating?' "

In August 2023, Kardashian marked Tatum's first birthday with an Instagram post. She shared never-before-seen photos of the little boy, with his face on full display.

"Happy birthday, my sweet son!" Kardashian began the caption. "I am a firm believer in that God gives you what you need and I needed you. God knew my heart needed you."

"I am so proud to be your mommy. So proud of the love and laughter we have in our house," she added. "So proud of your beautiful, gentle, loving, infectious spirit. You light up every single room."

The entire Kardashian/Jenner family affectionately calls Tatum "baby Rob" due to his uncanny resemblance to Rob Kardashian.
