Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Expecting Second Child Together Via Surrogate

TMZ was first to report that Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson will soon welcome their second child together via surrogate.

A rep for Kardashian later confirmed the news, telling People, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” adding, “Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ that the baby is expected to arrive in the coming days, while another insider claims the birth occurred within the last day or so. Either way, it appears an announcement of the birth could be on the horizon.

According to a source that spoke with Page Six, Khloé has been discussing the news with her friends for the past several months.

TMZ reports Kardashian and Thompson split up in December after she discovered a woman named Maralee Nichols would soon give birth to his third child, who was conceived while he and Khloé were still together. Tristan issued a public apology to Kardashian on his Stories the following month, and promised to support Nichols and their baby.

“Khloé and Tristan already had the baby in the works when the scandal hit,” an insider told Page Six. “By then, Khloé was just like, ‘I’m going to be doing it by myself.’”

Their relationship appeared to be over until Kardashian and Thompson were spotted together with their 4-year-old daughter True the day before Father’s Day. According to BuzzFeed News, Khloé took to her Stories to thank all the people who sent her floral arrangements for her birthday late last month, including a significantly large one from Tristan.

A source tells People that the two are not together and “have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters.”
