Fans of both pizza and fried chicken don't have to decide where to eat anymore.

KFC has announced that the "Chizza" — a menu item previously introduced internationally that combines the names and flavors of both food dishes — will be arriving in KFC locations nationwide on Feb. 26.

First introduced in the Philippines in 2015 before making its way to Germany, Mexico and beyond, the Chizza is described as two white meat chicken filets lathered in marinara sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni, according to a release.

The new menu item, which is available both solo and as a combo meal with fries and a drink, arrives as a New York City KFC location is transformed into a “Chizzeria” pop-up. On Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET, the 242 E 14th St. restaurant will allow customers to have a first taste of the Chizza. The menu item has previously been introduced in Korea, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Spain and beyond.

KFC's Blackberry Lemonade will also be temporarily returning to stores nationwide.

"So….the Chizza is out of the bag," the company teased in a post on X. "*marks calendar for Monday*"

News of the Chizza comes less than a year after KFC brought back the fan-favorite double down, which returned to locations in the U.S. following a nearly a decade-long hiatus for the bun-less sandwich.

The menu item was only available for four weeks, several years after its initial launch in 2010 and brief revival in 2014.

According to a release at the time, the original iteration of the double down sold over 10 million sandwiches before being brought back.

After Popeyes' chicken sandwich went viral in 2019, several fast food chains have given customers new twists on the chicken sandwich, including Burger King and Taco Bell.
