Kevin James is officially the King of Memes. This week, the 58-year-old actor went viral after one of his old headshots resurfaced. The photo, which is now seared into my memory, shows a sheepish James shrugging at the camera. You can practically hear him thinking, who, me? It's a funny, random, and downright strange snapshot of a young comedian who was clearly forced to take a picture with some very strange art direction. But hey, you'd do it too, for a check! Honestly, I love it, but the trend began earlier this week—and people are still pumping out this meme?! It's way out of control, at this point. Still, the Internet loves it. Naturally, Twitter is obsessed, too.

Though the exact origins of the picture are unknown, it seems to be connected to James’s famous sitcom, The King of Queens. From 1998 to 2007, James starred as Doug Hefferman, a witty mailman who delivers packages by day and deals with his unruly family at night. Before the final season aired, James won an Emmy for his performance, and now, he’s relishing in a new type of fame. After his picture went viral, James posted his own take on the joke to promote his latest project. “Gearing up for my new Stand Up Tour,” he wrote. “So happy I found this headshot.” (Are you, Kevin?!)
