In the family-friendly Irregardless, James delivers his unfiltered take on parenting, marriage, and getting older. Specific topics he takes on range from motivating children to put down their video games, to why he doesn’t trust technology, and how many Tater Tots he can fit in his mouth.

Kevin James: Irregardless is produced by Amazon Studios and Positive Image Video. In addition to James, executive producers include Jeff Sussman, Anthony Giordano, and Brady Nasfell.

An Emmy-nominated actor and comedian, James previously released the specials Sweat the Small Stuff (Comedy Central) and Never Don’t Give Up (Netflix) in 2001 and 2018, respectively. He began his career on the Long Island comedy scene, signing a network development deal to create his own sitcom after being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival. The subsequent series, The King of Queens, in which he starred opposite Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller, premiered on CBS in 1998 and ran for nine seasons. He garnered an Emmy nomination for Comedy Lead Actor as the series’ star and also served as its executive producer.

As an actor, James is otherwise perhaps best known for starring opposite Adam Sandler in titles like Pixels, Grown Ups 1 and 2 I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, and Hubie Halloween. He made his feature film debut opposite Will Smith in Columbia Pictures’ Hitch before going on to co-write, produce and star in the comedies Paul Blart: Mall Cop 1 and 2, Zookeeper, and Here Comes the Boom.

Other notable screen credits for James include the films True Memoirs of an International Assassin and Home Team for Netflix, as well as the indie action thriller Becky. The multi-hyphenate is repped by WME for Comedy Touring, Jeff Sussman Management, and Schreck Rose Dapello.
