Kevin James may be the King of Queens, but he's also a dad to four kids: Sienna-Marie, Shea Joelle, Kannon Valentine and Sistine Sabella.

After meeting on a blind date, the comedian and his wife, Steffiana de la Cruz, married on June 19, 2004. A little over a year later, they welcomed their first daughter, Sienna-Marie. Their second daughter, Shea, joined the family in 2007, right around the time Kevin starred in I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.

After the end of the actor's long run on The King of Queens, the couple welcomed their only son, Kannon, in 2011, and four years later, their youngest child, daughter Sistine, was born.

As Kevin welcomed kids and continued his comedic career, he revealed that his family inspired him to become more thoughtful about what projects he took on.

“I want to do movies that I’m proud of where my kids, at some point, can see and I can feel comfortable sitting there watching it with them,” he told CNN in 2012.

The funnyman also shared how his children influenced some of the writing on his sitcom Kevin Can Wait. “I have four kids of my own, and I’ve been breeding them for nothing but comedy,” the actor told PEOPLE in 2016.

Here’s everything to know about Kevin James’ kids: Sienna-Marie, Shea, Kannon and Sistine.

Born on Sept. 30, 2005, Sienna-Marie James is Kevin and Steffiana's oldest child — and she’s following in her father's footsteps. Their eldest daughter has already made several appearances alongside her famous dad in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Pixels and Hubie Halloween. She also played a character named Cecilia on her dad’s sitcom, Kevin Can Wait.

In 2022, Kevin and his kids performed in a production of the musical Oliver at the Cultural Arts Playhouse (CAP) on Long Island, New York.

Per Newsday, the James kids have all studied acting at the venue and owner Bruce Grossman told the outlet that Kevin first asked about auditioning after seeing Sienna-Marie perform in Les Misérables. After trying out, Kevin was cast as Fagin, the adult leader of a gang of child pickpockets, while Sienna-Marie played the Artful Dodger.

Besides her passion for acting, Kevin's firstborn is also athletic. “My eldest daughter is kickboxing, she’s the tough one — she’s strong,” Kevin told PEOPLE in 2016. “I’m not going to lie: She’ll put a hurting on you.”

Growing up, Sienna-Marie was close with Adam Sandler's daughter Sadie Madison Sandler — as they were born only several months apart and their fathers are longtime friends.

"Sienna and Sadie play,” Kevin told USA Today in 2007. “Sienna has been teaching Sadie how to eat crayons, which is nice. I’m glad my daughter picked that one up early. ... The wives get along, so it’s been a perfect match."

Shea Joelle James, 17

Shea Joelle James was born to Kevin and Steffiana on June 14, 2007.

While his wife was pregnant with Shea, the Hitch star said he was excited to be growing their family. “I just love being a dad and spending time with my wife and child, and now we’re having another girl. It’s incredible,” he told PEOPLE at the time.

Shortly after their second daughter's birth, Kevin joked on The Late Show with David Letterman that Steffiana would get “first dibs” on naming their next child after he named Shea in honor of Shea Stadium, the former home of the New York Mets.

He also said he was much more relaxed with their newborn than Sienna-Marie because of his parenting experience.

“You kinda loosen up with the second child a little bit, which is nice," Kevin shared. "The first child, I remember they just give it to you at the hospital, you're supposed to put her in the car seat and drive home ... I was 10 and two on the wheel in the right lane, 30 miles an hour on the highway with the flashers going Second kid, I had the top down. I was steering with my knees."

Like her big sister, Shea is also following in her father’s footsteps and beginning to act.

Apart from appearing on Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Pixels and Hubie Halloween, Shea was cast alongside her older sister Sienna-Marie on Kevin Can Wait. The duo starred in the same episode as trick-or-treaters, who egg Kevin's house on Halloween night. A few years later, in the 2022 production of Oliver, Shea played Bet, a former child pickpocket.

The two sisters may have caught the acting bug while spending time with their dad on the Grown Ups 2 set, which was “family-friendly” for the actors' kids and partners.

“We just have a good time,” Kevin told PEOPLE in 2013 of the filming experience. “It’s everybody getting together, all the families and the kids. We just enjoyed it, I loved it.”

Kevin and Steffiana welcomed their third child and only son, Kannon Valentine James, on April 24, 2011. His middle name, Valentine, is a family name: Kevin's late father was Joseph Valentine Knipfing Jr., while his older brother, comic Gary Valentine, uses the moniker as part of his stage name.

A talented musician, Kannon was featured playing piano in a video on his dad's Instagram account in 2020. In the clip, the budding pianist plays Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind” while his younger sister, Sistine, sings along.

“My family and I send our love to our fellow New Yorkers and everyone around the world,” Kevin captioned the post.

Kannon has also dabbled in acting, starring in the musical Oliver opposite his father as the titular orphan pickpocket, Oliver Twist, and appearing in his father’s movie Hubie Halloween.

In 2016, Kevin discussed his kids’ hobbies with PEOPLE. “They’re into animation and drawing. They don’t want to be in front of the camera, which I’m happy about, but they want to get behind it. They like editing,” he said.

The youngest of the James clan, Sistine Sabella James, was born to Kevin and Steffiana in January 2015.

Like with their other children, the couple keep Sistine’s life private, but the father of four did share some pictures of her just three months after her birth on Live with Kelly and Michael.

“She’s talented too,” Kevin said as the audience reacted to Sistine's newborn photos. “I got her working on a Robert De Niro impression,” he joked, referencing a picture in which she resembles the Meet the Parents actor.

Sistine also shares a love of food with Kevin. “Like her father, she cries when she wants to eat, and that’s about it,” he added.

Kevin's youngest also appeared alongside her siblings in Hubie Halloween and in Oliver as Nipper, the smallest of the child pickpockets.
