Kevin Hart And Kenan Thompson Return To Host ‘2023 Back That Year Up’

Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson are back to ensure no one misses any of this year’s shenanigans. The two comedic talents are set to host 2023 Back That Year Up, covering some of the biggest moments from the past 365 days.

Together, Hart and Thompson collaborate to deliver their unfiltered takes on pop culture, sports, social media, and politics using irreverent humor, inimitable charm, and hilarious points of view. The 1-hour special will feature guest appearances from the year’s most popular celebrities, including Simone Biles, Kelly Clarkson, Jim Cramer, Ron Funches, David Alan Grier, Jay Pharoah, and many more.

“We are so excited to bring audiences another ‘Back That Year Up’ special as we celebrate all the ups, downs, and memorable moments of this past year. Hold onto your party hats, because this is going to be one for the books,” explained Hart.

2023 Back That Year Up debuts on Peacock on Dec. 26. Both Thomson and Hart serve as executive producers with Jeff Clanagan, Bryan Smiley, David Nickoll, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Kevin Healey, and co-executive producer Paul Harrison It is directed by Leslie Small and produced by HARTBEAT.
