Kevin Hart Is the Best Man for the Job in First Trailer for 'The Wedding Ringer'
Kevin Hart cannot be stopped. This weekend sees the release of Think Like a Man Too — his third high-profile film of 2014 after Ride Along and About Last Night. But the comedy superstar is already looking to 2015 with this first trailer for next January's The Wedding Ringer.
In this new comedy, Josh Gad (best known as the voice of Olaf the snowman in Frozen) plays Doug, a dweeby guy who’s set to marry a fabulous woman (The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting). But he has no guy friends of his own, so he has to employ Jimmy (Hart), a professional Best Man, to stand with him at the ceremony. Jimmy is responsible for pulling together a misfit batch of groomsmen (including Lost's Jorge Garcia), planning the bachelor party, and getting Doug to the church on time.
The Wedding Ringer is just the first of several films Hart has lined up for next year. He’ll also be appearing in Chris Rock’s next directorial effort Finally Famous, and he’s pairing up with Will Ferrell for the prison comedy Get Hard. Of course, Hart is already gearing up for Ride Along 2 to hit sometime in 2016.
