KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Emmy and Grammy-nominated comedian and Mark Twain award recipient Kevin Hart added nine new stops to his nationwide comedy tour, ‘Acting My Age,’ and Kansas City’s Starlight Theatre is on the list.

Hart will be at Starlight on August 2, and presale tickets are set to open on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and general sale on Friday at 10 a.m.

If you are looking to buy tickets, click here. However, if you are interested in VIP passes, limited options will go on sale for select tour dates.

The event will be a phone-free experience, and upon arrival, guests are expected to place phones in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event.

Guests who need to use their phones are expected to go to a designated ‘Phone Use Area’ before placing them back in the pouch and returning to the performance.

According to a news release, anyone using a phone or any electronic device during the performance will be taken out of the venue by security.

“‘Acting my Age’ is my ninth tour and I wanted to change things up by creating a more intimate environment,” Hart said. “This hour is about connecting with the audience and feeding off the crowd’s energy and laughter.”
