Kevin Hart Claims That He Still Can't Walk Normally After His Car Crash

A Terrible Accident

Kevin Hart was involved in a car crash on September 1 after his 1970s Plymouth Barracuda "turned from southbound Cold Canyon Road to eastbound Mulholland Highway." The car went off the road and smashed through a fence before rolling down an embankment.

Hart was not behind the wheel; he and driver and friend Jared Black suffered from "major back injuries," but passenger Rebecca Broxterman walked away without a scratch.

Physical Therapy For Months

After his emergency back surgery, Hart returned home, where he will have round the clock care from healthcare professionals. he also faces months of intense physical therapy to recover his mobility.

Hart allegedly instructed his camp to downplay his injuries so as not to jeopardize his creative obligations, but his recovery process could take at least four months. Even if he is making strides, there is still a long way for Hart to go before he's back to work.

Hart is also locked in a legal battle with is former business partners, Stand Up Digital, and the actor requested a trial postponement due to his physical condition. According to court documents, "Defendant Kevin Hart just started physical rehabilitation and will not be ambulatory for at least another two months."
