Kevin Durant Fights Through Hangover to FaceTime With James Corden

Fresh of his NBA Championship, Kevin Durant took some time out of celebrating to chat with James Corden via Facetime on The Late Late Show. Durant and the rest of his Golden State Warriors teammates were out partying hard until the wee hours of the morning. Durant told Corden that he didn't get to bed until 6:00 a.m. Durant apparently hasn't drank in four months, so the celebration got off to a slow start. He said, "My first drink was pretty rough going down, so… I had a tough night." While it wasn't as tough as LeBron James's night, Durant said his hangover was finally getting better. Although, he added, "But I got more ahead, so I gotta pace myself." When James then asked, "Is this an ongoing party?" Durant responded with, "Yeah, all summer." While many people think the Warriors might have lost game four on purpose so they could win the championship at home, Durant quickly blocked that rumor. The Finals MVP said, "We wanted to sweep them, we wanted to go 16 and 0. But when we lost, we thought we would rather win on our home floor anyway." And when Corden claimed that he would've thrown the game, Durant jokingly added, "We played like we did."
