Kevin Costner & Ex-Wife Skipping Co-Parenting Classes In Divorce Settlement
Kevin Costner is officially free from the legal drama with his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, as the former couple has sorted out their differences with a written agreement.
The legal documents obtained by The Blast were filed at the Superior Court of California on February 14 — a day after the former spouses signed the joint request to stop their co-parenting classes.

Baumgartner filed for divorce in May 2023, ending the pair's over-a-decade union that saw the birth of three children. Now, she and the Hollywood veteran have dropped new court documents to waive the necessity of co-parenting classes thanks to their divorce settlement.
The duo noted they had reached a private agreement about their divorce proceedings, with the contents resolving the dissolution of their marriage and custody issues. The document read:
"IT IS STIPULATED by and between the parties, Petitioner, Christine Costner, and Respondent, Kevin Costner, that the parties be excused from, and the Court waive the necessity of them completing the Parent Education and Co-Parenting Effectively 'P.E.A.C.E.' class."
"This stipulation is entered into based on the following: The Parties have settled their dissolution proceeding and entered into a signed written Marital Settlement Agreement resolving this matter," the statement continued, noting "the Agreement resolves the custody issues between the Parties."
The former couple explained that they made the joint request to prevent further delays and the frustration of waiting for it to end. Although they wished to renounce the co-parenting classes, the pair agreed that the court would maintain its power to compel them to attend the educational course if "custody issues arise in the future."
The exes' request comes two months after Costner sparked romance rumors with the singer-songwriter Jewel. He was spotted on a private island with the 49-year-old, giving sources plenty to discuss as the pair allegedly could not get enough of each other.
The speculations began when the "Yellowstone" star participated in a tennis tournament on Richard Branson's private Necker Island. This event was aimed at raising funds in support of the Inspiring Children Foundation; however, it might have ignited a new relationship for Costner.
"There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up," an insider said about the actor's alleged relationship with Jewel.
Another claimed, "You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on." These informants also alleged that the duo traveled to the Caribbean together and spent more than a week in each other's company.
During the fundraiser games, Costner and Jewel teamed up for doubles with Sir Richard, seemingly showing their close bond. A different source claimed the alleged couple flew back together and noted the "You Were Meant For Me" singer "wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill."
Christine Baumgartner Is Allegedly Dating Her Ex-Husband's Friend
Last month, Costner's ex-wife made waves for allegedly dating his banker friend, a financier named Josh Connor. The new couple blossomed just four months after Baumgartner's divorce from the father of her children.
The pair were spotted on a drive in Baumgartner's Range Rover before she dropped Connor off at his home in Montecito, which is minutes away from hers. Like his rumored girlfriend, the financier was fresh out of a dissolved union and became legally single in January 2023.
Reports claimed the lovebirds frequently visited each other's homes and took trips together. Last July, they were photographed enjoying their time in Hawaii and reportedly took a private jet to visit the tourist hot spot for Christmas.
Sources revealed the couple's relationship had been quietly developing for a considerable period. One insider explained that their connection blossomed through their daughters' close friendship, adding:
"They spent time before Christmas together in Hawaii while Kevin was presumably in Aspen with the kids. They also made a trip to New York together. She hasn't been doing much to hide what's going on from her friends."
Baumgartner's relationship with Connor also came up during her divorce battle with Costner. While under oath, she denied being romantically involved with the financier following scrutiny over their July vacation and a $20,000 loan.
In tears, Baumgartner explained the loan was used to address financial needs following Costner's discontinued monthly support of $5,000 to her parents. Additionally, she emphasized her intent to repay the loan.
