Kesha is not backing down – for anyone.

The musician got candid on Instagram, Saturday, sharing a photo of herself, in shadow, with her middle fingers raised.

“I have been battling depression and an eating disorder for a while now,” she wrote. “My career is in a strange place and it feels like I’m fighting an uphill fight some days. But I have decided to take my life back. My freedom. My happiness. My voice. My worth.”

She continued, “I will not just f**king be quiet and hide. Today I will say f**k it and live,” adding, “Today I’m making that choice. AND IM HAPPY AS A DAMN CLAM. And also a big ol f**k u if u wanna hate on my body. Just remember that makes u look like a d**khead."

The post closely followed the singer’s social media takedown of body shamers last week. "Bye byeeeeeee. I’m hot when my a** is big. I’m hot when it small. GET OVER IT,” she wrote at the time.

Kesha is also currently embroiled in a legal battle with her former producer Dr. Luke, who she alleged sexual and physically abused her for several years. Last week, the producer filed a countersuit in a New York City court, requesting access to Kesha’s medical records pertaining to the allegations.

Most of the charges in Kesha’s plight to end her record contract with Dr. Luke were dismissed in New York City, and he has continually denied her allegations.
