The "TiK ToK" singer posted an update on social media in the wake of reports that she had finally left Dr. Luke's record label.

Six months after Kesha settled an acrimonious, nearly decade-long legal battle with record producer and label owner Dr. Luke, the singer says she feels "free."

Kesha posted a TikTok video from a sunny beach on Wednesday with the caption, "I haven't felt this free since I was 18." Just days earlier, she posted an Instagram photo of her standing nude alongside a river canyon with the caption, "Coming back home to me."

These posts come on the heels of a Variety report stating that the "TiK ToK" singer had parted ways with Dr. Luke's label. The publication said Kesha's deal with the Kemosabe label, distributed by RCA Records, ended this month following the release of her Gag Order album in May.

Additionally, Kesha left her longtime manager. "Jack Rovner confirms, after 16 years, Kesha and Vector Management have agreed to amicably part ways, with much love and respect," a representative told Variety.

"My manager has been an unwavering supporter of helping me get through the lengthy legal battle I have been embroiled in for almost a decade," Kesha said in her own statement. "We have achieved many great successes and have shared a magnificent part of my life with me. I am so grateful to them and always will be. In need of a fresh start in my life, we have parted ways, but I will remain forever grateful for the run we had."

Kesha's legal battle with Dr. Luke, a.k.a. Lukasz Gottwald, began with her 2014 accusation that Gottwald drugged and raped her in 2005. She also accused him of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse that occurred over 10 years, resulting in severe depression, post-traumatic stress, social isolation, and panic attacks. Her lawsuit was dismissed in 2016, but a defamation lawsuit filed by Gottwald against Kesha continued until June, when the parties settled out of court.

At that time, Kesha said in a statement, "Only God knows what happened that night. As I have always said, I cannot recount everything that happened. I am looking forward to closing the door on this chapter of my life and beginning a new one. I wish nothing but peace to all parties involved."

Dr. Luke also released a statement at the time. "While I appreciate Kesha again acknowledging that she cannot recount what happened that night in 2005, I am absolutely certain that nothing happened," he said. "I never drugged or assaulted her and would never do that to anyone. For the sake of my family, I have vigorously fought to clear my name for nearly 10 years. It is time for me to put this difficult matter behind me and move on with my life. I wish Kesha well."
