Kenya Moore Teases an Exciting Update to Her Backyard (PHOTO)

Though Kenya Moore has brought her dream house to life, she’s always thinking of ways to bring a little more dreaminess to Moore Manor. (Tour the gorgeous home in the clip above!) As the homeowner told BravoTV.com in May 2022, “Renovations in my house never end.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member recently shared a photo of a crystal bathtub that she wouldn’t mind installing in her palatial bathroom. And in her most recent Instagram Story, Kenya revealed that she’s hard at work on a new project in her backyard.

In her recent post, Kenya shared a video of herself seated on the turf in her yard, with a nail gun in her hands and planks of wood in front of her. “Can [you] guess what I’m building?” she wrote.

The Atlanta mom was driving a nail into the stacked slats of wood, which seemed to form the base of Kenya’s project. It could be that Kenya was building a sandbox or play area for her daughter, Brooklyn. Or a garden bed. Or maybe a different project entirely!

But whatever Kenya was working on, it seems her latest project will spruce up her pool deck, which is already pretty luxe. The outdoor space has wooden cabanas with breezy white curtains and pillowed seating. And of course, it also boasts the pool that Kenya couldn’t wait to have installed.

Back in August 2020, the haircare mogul shared a picture of the pool, which was then a work in progress. “Woohoo shotCrete day,” she wrote at the time. Well, the pool has come a long way since then! With the cushy lounge chairs that Kenya’s most recent video showed, the space has some serious resort vibes.

Even though her pool deck is the perfect place to chill, Kenya might not hang out there for long. In a May 2023 interview with BravoTV.com, Kenya teased her surprising plans for the future: “Moving.”

Would she really give up her dream home? “At some point, yeah, I need a little bit more space,” the former beauty queen said. “I don’t have room for a gym in the home, and I have a full gym in storage. Like, I literally have a full gym in storage and I don’t have anywhere to put it. Just things like that. I want a little dance studio. I want a guest house.”

When she does make her big move, Kenya plans to make a splash on the market. “I will sell [Moore Manor] at auction for a pretty penny to the person [who] can afford the most iconic house in Atlanta,” she laughed.

“I want to do a live auction, an international live auction,” she added. “Highest bidder… No other Housewife has done it. I’m going to do it. I’m going to set up a whole big portal. It’s going to be amazing. I’m going to do a live auction for my house.”
