Congratulations are in order for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and his wife McKenzie Caldwell-Pope!

On Friday, the NBA star’s spouse shared the news that they welcomed a baby girl into the world.

“8.23.23 Kendall Raquel Caldwell-Pope made her grand entrance and we have been soaking up these precious moments,” she began in an Instagram post.

In the cover photo of her carousel, she smiled while looking down at her baby. An assortment of flowers was also seen in the background of the hospital’s delivery room.

"My initial reaction was, how is this going to work? And when am I going to see you again?" she recalled thinking when she first got news that 22 NBA teams were instructed to remain in one of three Disney World resorts for up to three months.

"But because my husband plays for the Lakers, they're like, 'This is our year.' So they were so determined to make it work. I'm just trying to support from home and hold it down,” McKenzie said during the interview.

"Then I would like travel with my mom or a nanny," she added. "So I would need at least five spaces. I don't know how that's gonna work and I honestly don't even think they have it figured out yet because we haven't heard anything."
