Kenny Omega: I Think Roman Reigns Is Incredible, He’s Presented The Way I Would Love To Be

Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega speaks highly of former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Reigns is coming off a lengthy reign as the champion, as he held the gold for 1,316 days. Cody Rhodes dethroned him to win the title at WWE WrestleMania 40. Meanwhile, Omega has been sidelined due to diverticulitis.

Speaking on his latest Twitch stream, Kenny Omega responded to criticism of Roman Reigns.

“Oh, no, no, no, I’m not going to accept any Roman Reigns slander in this chat. I really think he’s incredible,” Kenny Omega said. “I don’t think he’s boring, either, I actually would say that I’m pretty jealous because Roman Reigns is presented the exact same way that I would love to be presented.

“He’s presented as the man who’s the champion to have big matches at the pay-per-views, where you’re either really cheering for him, or you’re cheering for someone else. So that’s professional wrestling. He’s getting to do what I did in New Japan, so I can’t be a hater on that. I’m a fan.”

Kenny Omega is set to appear on the May 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. He recently said that he was surprised when the arena advertised him for the show. Check out his comments here.
