Kenny Omega will be out of action for the foreseeable future.
Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega took to Twitter on December 15 and announced that he would be out indefinitely. He stated that he tried to push past the pain for as long as he could until it became too much. Omega wrote that luckily doctors caught him when they did. He said he would be in the hospital in the meantime. In the post, he shared a picture of himself in a hospital bed.

Omega last wrestled on the December 9 episode of AEW Collision, which was taped on December 5. He and Chris Jericho were set to challenge Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW Worlds End on December 30.
Update: Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that Omega had been ill throughout the week, even ahead of his match with Page. He then sought medical attention after his promo on Dynamite, and he was hospitalized and diagnosed with diverticulitis.
