Kenny Chesney will make the 12th Ford Field visit of his career when he plays the downtown Detroit stadium on Aug. 10, joined by Zac Brown Band, Uncle Kracker and rising country artist Megan Moroney.

The show is part of Chesney's just-announced Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour, an 18-city stadium run set to kick off in Tampa on April 20 and wrap up in Boston on Aug. 23.

Tickets for all stops on the tour, including Ford Field, will go on sale Nov. 17.

Chesney has been one of the touring industry's top stadium draws since the mid-2000s, and the Detroit Lions' house has been a regular destination for the country star and his No Shoes Nation fans.

Uncle Kracker — the Mt. Clemens native who served as Chesney's duet partner on the chart-topping 2004 hit "When the Sun Goes Down" — is hitting the road in the wake of his recent singles "Cruising Altitude," "Reason to Drink" and "Sweet 16."

Kracker will also be in town for a show this month, playing his annual Thanksgiving-week homecoming concert at District 142 in Wyandotte.
