For the second time in 2024, Kendrick Lamar has a No. 1 song. After “Like That,” his We Don’t Trust You collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin, summited the Billboard Hot 100 in April, Lamar’s new song “Not Like Us” is now the top track in the United States, Billboard reports. “Not Like Us” is Lamar’s fourth No. 1 song, following “Like That,” 2017’s “Humble.” and 2015’s “Bad Blood.”

Another Kendrick Lamar song, “Euphoria,” reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 after debuting last week at No. 11. Both songs are disses aimed at rival Drake, whose Lamar retort “Family Matters” landed at No. 7 on the singles chart.

“Like That,” released in late March, kicked off weeks of feuding between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. The beef has resulted in a bevy of diss tracks: “Euphoria,” “6:16 in LA,” “Meet the Grahams,” and “Not Like Us,” from Lamar, and “Push Ups,” “Taylor Made Freestyle,” “Family Matters,” and “The Heart Part 6,” from Drake.

Kendrick won a pyrrhic victory and Drake might be done for good, all amid serious allegations that make it difficult to separate fact from fiction.
