Kendra Wilkinson Says She’s Quitting Real Estate to Focus on Her Mental Health

“My relationship with real estate has come to an end at this moment,” the ‘Kendra Sells Hollywood’ star wrote on Instagram on May 21

Kendra Wilkinson is stepping away from her current career.

The Kendra Sells Hollywood star, 38, revealed she’s leaving her job in real estate to focus on her mental health and her kids in an Instagram post shared on May 21.

“My relationship with real estate has come to an end at this moment and I’m on to new projects,” Wilkinson wrote in the caption.

“I’m blessed and thankful for all the support and mentoring I was given. Real estate is hard and I might get back into it again down the line. For now, its a little stressful in my life so I’m focusing on myself and kids and getting my mental health good again so I have the strength to get back in it with a good head," she continued, ading, “Love you and thank you guys 😊”

The former Playboy model starred in MAX’s Kendra Sells Hollywood, in which viewers watched her try to make a name for herself in the high stakes world of luxury Los Angeles real estate.

The series also followed the mom of two as she tried to balance her career, navigating high tensions between her fellow agents at Douglas Elliman, and taking care of her children. (Wilkinson shares daughter Alijah, 9, and son Hank IV, 14, with her ex-husband, former NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett.)

The show was announced in July 2021 and premiered in November of that year. She confirmed to PEOPLE in January 2024 that the series was not renewed for a third season.

In June 2020, Wilkinson shared with fans that she had passed her real estate exam, just two weeks after celebrating her 35th birthday.

"What I've been working on during quarantine finally paid off by passing my California real estate exam on the first try," she announced on Instagram at the time, before thanking her kids, son Hank IV, 11, and daughter Alijah Mary, 7, for their support.

"Was so nervous I couldn't even sleep one minute but I did it and now I can breathe and celebrate my hard work," she added.

The TV personality had previously starred in Kendra on Top and The Girls Next Door, which was set at the Playboy mansion.

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in January, Wilkinson opened up about her mental health struggles after being hospitalized for a panic attack in Sept. 2023.

“I was in a state of panic. I didn’t know what was going on in my head and my body or why I was crying. I had hit rock bottom,” she told PEOPLE of the traumatic incident

She continued, “It was so scary for me to go through it. I wasn’t focusing on myself or my mental health. Here I was a single mom and I've been alone for years now.  But it's also easy to feel like the world is caving in on you. I was trying to fight it on my own. I was trying to cure it on my own and you can't do that. I was isolating, hiding, blaming myself, blaming the world. I was spiraling out of control and I felt like I wasn't strong enough to survive."
