Kendall Jenner’s Latest Edgy Look: Going Goth for Marc Jacobs

This has been a week of edgy looks for Kendall Jenner.

Designer Marc Jacobs shared a snapshot Thursday of the 20-year-old model with a very dark appearance. She wore a dress befitting of Helena Bonham Carter, sky-high platform boots, and was styled in dark eye makeup with wild, crimped hair. Her expression was zombie-like. The photograph is part of the label’s fall campaign, which also features the likes of model Cara Delevingne and musician Marilyn Manson, whose been rocking a goth look since long before Jenner was born.

Jacobs complimented his model in the lengthy caption. “For me, it is the ability of a model to effortlessly transform into a look and character that makes her so appealing and inspiring,” he wrote in part. “Photographed by David Sims for our Fall ’16 ad as a Goth Goddess is the sweet, kind and ultimate professional, Kendall Jenner.”

Two days earlier, Jenner herself chose an even buzzier look. She sported a sheer bodysuit that exposed her (gasp!) nipple ring while out with model friends Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin in NYC.

Baldwin later confirmed to Us Weekly that Jenner had not experienced a wardrobe malfunction.

"She obviously knew the shirt was gonna be see-through, but she owns it,” Baldwin said. “She doesn’t really care about what people have to say.”

We kind of figured that after the response she gave to last week's debate about whether or not she's a supermodel.
