Kendall Jenner Uses Celebrity Status to Advocate for Gun Control

On Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kendall felt inspired to use her social status to raise awareness for a very hot-button issue, gun control. "It's such a hard thing to try and like change one human being," Kendall said. "You can't go and like, be like, 'I'm gonna change your soul.'" Later, Kendall and Rob discussed the downside of going public with their views. "Gun control's, like, a very serious thing in America, in the world," Rob explained. "But, if you get involved with that type of stuff, you're definitely gonna, like, get some backlash. There's a lot of people that have completely different views that are opposite of you. So you're gonna get a lot of hate." Worried about all that hate, Kendall also sought advice from Kim, who supports the gun safety organization, Everytown. "I feel like, in life, I've gotten a lot of backlash and I've gotten a lot of hate," Kim said. "So, I'm gonna just stick up for what I believe in and what I want."
