Kendall Jenner Promises Kris Jenner a Grandchild 'When the Time Is Right' – But Wants It to Be 'Traditional'

The model talks about her plans to one day have kids and assures mom Kris Jenner that it is in her future

Kendall Jenner is all about becoming a mom — when the time is right.

The model, 28, gathered with sister Khloé Kardashian and her son Tatum, as well as mom Kris Jenner and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, celebrating her horse giving birth, in the latest episode of The Kardashians.

The momager, 68, tells Kendall, "I had a dream that you had a baby."

"With who?" Kendall asks.

"It wasn't clear who it was with. It was just you had a baby. Do you ever think you want a baby one day?"

"Of course," Kendall replies without hesitation. Three max. I'm cool with two, though. I just want my kid to for sure have a sibling, I know that."

In her confessional, Kris says she "would love to see Kendall have a baby. She'd be such a good mommy."

In her response to that, Kendall defends her plan, noting, "I swear I got this and I will give you a grandkid when the time is right and when it all makes sense perfectly."

In the scene, Kendall explains, "I just think about my life and the freedom that I have right now, the ease I have in picking up and going somewhere."

Gamble agrees as she continues, "Your whole life changes. But I'm also not going to do it with just anybody. I want to have ..."

"A love life. A story and a wedding and a fairytale," he offers.

"Exactly. I'm traditional in that sense," she concludes, to which Kris says, "I love that."

In WSJ. Magazine's Summer digital issue, the model opened up in a cover story about the prospect of having kids and whether she'd stay in her hometown of Los Angeles as they grow up.

"I'm excited for that time in my life," Kendall shared of having kids of her own. "I just know it's not right now."

As for whether she'll stay in L.A. during that time, the model confirmed that she plans to leave the city. "Oh yeah. You heard it here first."

Kendall is the only one of her siblings to not have any children. During season 2 of The Kardashians, Kris spoke to daughter Kendall about the possibility of having a child, telling the model, "I was just thinking, maybe it's time to, you know, have a baby."

Kendall immediately choked on her water at her mom's suggestion, telling Kris that she was making her "uncomfortable."

"You keep telling me, 'You're not getting any younger,' but guess what? It's my life. I don't know if I'm ready yet," Kendall told her mom, as Kris quipped, "Are you sure it's your life?"

"I still have a lot to figure out before I can welcome a child into my life," Kendall explained in a confessional. "I'm still enjoying life on my own. And I'm okay with that right now."
