Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell Are Back In Business In ‘Good Burger 2’ Trailer

Ed and Dexter are back at it again. The leading characters in the Good Burger film, played by Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson, return to the series for an anticipated sequel. In the official trailer released by Nickelodeon and Paramount + on Monday (Oct. 30), the dynamic duo are once again working together behind the grill.

“Are you ready for seconds,” questions the comedic clip.

This time around, the best friends are tasked with stopping Mega Corp, led by Lil Rel Howery, from taking Mega Good Burger global with thousands of restaurants staffed by robots. The trailer highlights guest appearances from Marsai Martin and Kai Cenat.

Additional original cast members returning for Good Burger 2 are Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg, and Carmen Electra. The film also stars Jillian Bell, Kamaia Fairburn, Alex R. Hibbert, Fabrizio Guido, Elizabeth Hinkler, Emily Hinkler, and Anabel Graetz.

Good Burger 2 was officially confirmed in March after years of conversations surrounding reviving the nostalgic story. Good Burger started off as a sketch on Nickelodeon’s All That sketch comedy series before becoming a movie in 1997.

The 2023 reboot is produced by both Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. It was penned by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, who also serve as executive producers.

“I can’t believe it’s been a little over 25 years since great customer service was born at Good Burger!” exclaimed the Saturday Night Live star.

“Being a part of something so many generations of people have come to love has made me so proud, and now to be back where it all began working on the sequel is surreal! Love performing with my brother Kel and can’t wait to show the fans what these characters have been up to since we last saw them.”

Produced by Nickelodeon Studios, Good Burger 2 premieres on Nov. 22, exclusively on Paramount+. Watch the trailer above.
