The Pussycat Dolls singer served a panelist alongside the comedic actor for the first 10 seasons of the Fox singing competition

Rita Ora replaced Nicole Scherzinger on The Masked Singer panel for season 11 when the Pussycat Dolls singer decided to take her talents to London’s West End.

But in a PEOPLE exclusive clip from the May 22 finale of The Masked Singer, Ken Jeong thinks Scherzinger, 45, might have snuck back onto the show.

“First saw the glass slipper and I thought of a performer who played Cinderella on Broadway, Carly Rae Jepsen,” Jeong begins in the clip. “Then I saw the vampire in the clue and then I thought of Bella Swan herself, Kristen Stewart.”

Ultimately, the Hangover actor landed on a different star as his guess for Goldfish.

“Then my journey came to a close,” Jeong continues. “I don’t have the ear that Rita and Robin do, and I’m not as smart as Jenny — but I know love and I know voices. This is my sweet, sweet Nicole Scherzinger.”

Host Nick Cannon thought Jeong might be onto something, telling him, “Not a bad guess."

Earlier in the season, the judges guessed that Goldfish might be Nina Dobrev, Hilary DuffSelena Gomez, Lucy HaleSarah Hyland, Vanessa Hudgens or Lea Michele. Goldfish beat out Starfish (Kate Flannery) and Ugly Sweater (Charlie Wilson) to win the Group A Finals and earn a spot in the quarterfinals.

On the latest episode of The Masked Singer on Wednesday, May 15, Poodle Moth narrowly missed the finale and unmasked as This Is Us star Chrissy Metz.

"It was definitely challenging," Metz, 43, told PEOPLE of the experience. "I've said this before, but singing just on a stage without a costume is difficult enough. And so, to be in a very involved costume, I was like, 'Am I going to be able to do this? What if I'm the person who faints? What if I'm the person that completely falls apart while we're in front of a live audience?' So I really think I pushed through a lot of anxiety, which was very helpful for me."

Seal and Beets got eliminated just ahead of the quarterfinals. Seal unmasked as actor Corey Feldman and Beets turned out to be American Idol season 2 winner Ruben Studdard and runner-up Clay Aiken.

I wanted to win. I want to win everything,” Studdard, 45, told PEOPLE. “But I mean, I think the biggest win was just us getting the opportunity to be on the show and be a part of the juggernaut that is Masked Singer.”

Aiken, 45, called his time on the show with Studdard “a blast.”
