Kelsey Grammer Is Cam’s Old Flame on ‘Modern Family’
On Modern Family, Kelsey Grammer guest starred as Cam’s old flame, Keifth (that’s right, Keifth), a velvety voiced former circus ringmaster who left a younger Cam as one might imagine a carny would, without a goodbye or a note. Instead, “just some peanut shells on the floor that must have fallen from his glorious black boot.”
Keifth comes onto the scene after a cooking disaster forces Cam and Mitchell to call for an e-butler service. Turns out that e-butlers provide pretty much any service you could hope for, including bringing a roasted pig to a party and distracting the family with a peacock while you switch out the bad roasted pig for the good roasted pig. Cam and Keifth were able to have the heart-to-heart that was long overdue, discovering that Keifth went away to join another circus, leaving Cam to blossom into the success he always knew he’d be.
