Kelsea Ballerini went for gold on Thursday at the 2024 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards in Frisco, Texas. The singer wore a gold silky dress featuring a high halter neck and a train. The back was open with a low, slouchy cowl finish and a thin tie. She paired the golden gown with matching sandals.

The “Mountain With a View” singer kept her hair and makeup simple (and it was one of the best beauty looks of the night), styling a slicked-back low bun with a loose tendril and rosy pink lips. She added some sparkle with mismatched diamond earrings, a delicate diamond bracelet and matching ring.

Rom-com fans could see the look as a nod to Kate Hudson’s character Andie Anderson in “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.” For the film’s climax, the character wears a yellow-gold silk gown and a loose bun with face-framing tendrils that almost perfectly match Ballerini’s.

Ballerini, who was nominated for Album of the Year for “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat” and Female Artist of the Year, performed a duet with Noah Kahan. For her performance, she wore a gold babydoll minidress covered in sequins and a plaid shirt.

The singer was recently at the Met Gala in New York, where she wore a floral-embellished gown by Michael Kors.

Hosted by Reba McEntire, the ACM Awards will feature performances from Kane Brown, Miranda Lambert, Post Malone, Chris Stapleton and more. The show will stream live on Prime Video.
