"I don't buy into, especially, the loud, echo chamber of pop culture trying to make a thing out of nothing," Ballerini told 'Call Her Daddy' host Alex Cooper

Kelsea Ballerini isn't worried about "the other girl."

Appearing on Wednesday's episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, the "Penthouse" singer, 30, opened up about having the internet pit her and boyfriend Chase Stokes' ex, actress Madelyn Cline, against one another.

"I met her, and I talked to her and she's lovely, and I think she's wildly talented. And I think the internet did its best to make it really weird, and it just didn't work for them," Ballerini told host Alex Cooper of meeting Cline, 25. The actress is currently dating comedian Pete Davidson.

She continued: "I'm stoked to be on set and vibe with everyone. At the end of the day, I'm a girl's girl. I don't buy into the bulls---, and I don't buy into, especially, the loud, echo chamber of pop culture trying to make a thing out of nothing. I think they have a beautiful working relationship and I'm excited to hang with her. I'm vibing."

Ballerini explained that nothing with them is "weird" despite what the internet has come to believe.

"People want drama — they don't want consistency and happiness," she said. "The other thing is, if I was insecure about that, that says way more about my insecurity with myself and my relationship than it does anything. And like I don't feel insecure with my relationship and I don't feel insecure about myself."

Ballerini concluded: "It's not weird. Everyone's good."

Elsewhere in the conversation, the "Mountain with a View" musician touched on her sex life with the Outer Banks star, 31. Not only did she explain how their relationship in the bedroom is different from her past experiences, but she confessed that she’s been “having a nice time.”

“[Sex] was something that I always felt was very … like my experience with it was very performative and for the other person. You know? And it don’t be like that anymore,” she told Cooper.

“I’m having a nice time,” the Grammy-nominated artist admitted with a laugh. “I’m just having a nice time!”

Ballerini also confessed that she didn't understand how sex "could be a real connector in a relationship."

“I always thought that it was just something that you did because that’s who you do it with. You know? No, no, no — now I realize it’s a connector for people," she said.
