Kelly Rizzo Wishes Happy Birthday to Bob Saget's 'Sweetest' Daughter Aubrey: 'Beyond Grateful for You'

Rizzo has maintained a close bond with Bob Saget's three daughters following his unexpected death in 2022

Kelly Rizzo celebrated her late husband Bob Saget’s daughter in a sweet Instagram post. “To the sweetest and most amazing person/angel and stepdaughter - happy birthday [Aubrey]!! I love you so very much and I’m beyond grateful for you every day. You deserve the BEST day and I can’t wait to celebrate with you in a couple weeks. Love, Stepmommy Kelly,” she wrote.
Rizzo, 44, also included photos of the family — some of just Aubrey, 37, and herself, one on Aubrey’s wedding day and two with Saget. Aubrey reposted the Instagram Story on her own, adding a red heart emoji.

Kelly Rizzo's birthday wishes to Aubrey Saget.Since Saget’s death in January 2022, when the Full House star died unexpectedly from head trauma, Rizzo and his three daughters have remained close.
"When I think about the fact that I haven't talked to, or seen my husband in a year, that's very surreal and very, very strange," Rizzo shared on Today one year after Saget’s death. "The three of them [Aubrey, Lara and Jennifer Saget] are just everything to me because they were everything to him. Keeping them close, really, is everything."
The girls have influenced Rizzo’s career decisions in recent years, too. Speaking of her decision to join Fox’s reality series Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, she said Saget’s daughters gave her the confidence to embark on the challenge.
"I'm like, 'You guys are okay with me doing this right?'" she previously told PEOPLE. "And they're like, 'Yeah, it looks cool.' And I was like, 'You think your dad would be okay with me doing this? Right?' And they're like, 'Yeah, we think he'd be proud. He'd think you're crazy, but we think he'd be proud.'"

Rizzo and Saget met in 2015 and wed in 2018. In her conversation with Today, she spoke about keeping Saget’s legacy alive in how she grieves.
"I'm really trying to take from it what you can do to turn this into a positive experience because Bob did that," she added. "He had so much loss in his life, and he turned everything into a positive, reflective experience. If he did that, I want to use this experience in the same way."
