Kelly Ripa's hips don't lie. Watch ' 3 mothers' stun in Shakira's champeta challenge

Kelly Ripa could very well have been one of Shakira's back up dancers in a past life.

The 49-year-old TV host participated in Shakira's "Champeta Challenge" and shared a video to Instagram of her and two friends dancing. Ripa was positioned in the back right wearing black leggings and a white sports bra.

"With my sisters in the @shakira Champeta challenge," Ripa captioned the video. "3 mothers. 7 children. 36 pack."

Shakira's "Champeta Challenge" grew out of a segment she performed during the Super Bowl halftime show with Jennifer Lopez.

The "Hips Don't Lie" artist shared a video tutorial to Instagram on Wednesday of how to dance the afro-Caribbean champeta. Shortly after, Shakira shared another video of her team learning the champeta and used the hashtag #ChampetaChallenge.

The dance requires a lot of foot movement and hip rotations and Ripa and her friends seem to have nailed it judging by the comments fans left on Instagram.

James B Whiteside, a principal dancer for the American Ballet Theater wrote: "Y’all better SERVE!"

"Missed your calling....your job is sitting. Please do a dance show," wrote Bethenny Frankel.

Former "Grey's Anatomy" star, Jessica Capshaw, remarked not only on Ripa's dance moves, but her personality as a whole.

"And on top of you being an awesome dancer, mother and owner of an 88 pack...you are KIND, thoughtful, vulnerable, generous, and hilarious. You bring all of that to all the people who watch you...and that is you, serving up some serious JOY," the actress wrote.

Shakira and Lopez performed during Sunday's Pepsi Super Bowl LIV halftime show in Miami Gardens, Florida and the two stars delivered a set complete with pole-dancing, a children's choir and political statements.

The performance kicked off with Shakira, who took the stage in a glittery, fringed red dress and delightfully showed what a Renaissance woman she is: playing electric guitar during “Empire,” popping in on drums, and belly-dancing with a rope when she wasn’t fiercely working her way through playfully sexy pop anthems “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Whenever, Wherever” and (the hugely underrated) “She Wolf.”

She then ceded the stage to Lopez, who descended on Hard Rock Stadium in a revealing, black-leather bodysuit, where she was flanked by backup dancers in colorful miniskirts for early hits “Jenny From the Block” and “Get Right.” Further reminding Oscar voters what a mistake they made in not nominating her for last year’s stripper drama “Hustlers,” Lopez brought out a stripper pole and did a breathtaking routine in a diamond-studded ensemble as she sang a slowed-down version of “Waiting for Tonight.”
