It’s never easy to watch your kids grow up and spread their wings, and that’s just as true in Hollywood as it is anywhere else. Exhibit A? Kelly Ripa’s throwback photo of daughter Lola Consuelos makes it clear the Live with Kelly and Ryan host is feeling sentimental about her baby girl heading off to college. And judging by Ripa’s caption, husband and “Daddy” Mark Consuelos is a downright emotional wreck.

Ripa took to Instagram for Throwback Thursday to post an oh-so-sweet snapshot showing her now-18-year-old daughter as an infant. “#tbt 2001 from your Christening to college. In the blink of an eye,” Ripa wrote, adding, “I’m not crying. You’re crying (actually Daddy’s sobbing).” In the photo, Ripa and Consuelos — who, for the record, apparently never age — are looking down sweetly at baby Lola as she lays sleeping in her christening gown.

It certainly qualifies as a moment that’ll tug on the heartstrings, and it wasn’t just Ripa and Consuelos’ heartstrings being tugged. The throwback photo had a few of the couple’s famous friends feeling emotional, too. “I’m sobbing!!!!!!” Lisa Rinna commented, with Holly Robinson Peete adding a string of crying emojis. Consuelos’ Riverdale co-star Marisol Nichols chimed in, “Now I’m crying.”

Fortunately for Ripa, her little girl isn’t flying too far from the nest. Come this fall, she’ll be headed to New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts’ Clive Davis Institute for Recorded Music. Lola’s older brother, Michael Consuelos, 22, also attends NYU, so at least the family is all in the same city. After Lola leaves for college, the only Ripa-Consuelos kid at home will be youngest brother Joaquin, 16.

In recent months, Ripa has shared major milestones of Lola’s last year at home with fans. We got to see the teen all dressed up for prom — in a dress we later hilariously learned from Ripa that Lola altered behind her parents’ back. We also got to see the family on Lola’s high school graduation day. So, TBH, we’re all feeling a little teary-eyed, too. Wasn’t Lola a little girl visiting her mom on the Live set, like, yesterday?!

Good luck to the family as their latest grad transitions into life as a college freshman.
