Kelly Ripa Shares Birthday Tribute to Mark Consuelos Featuring Sweet Unseen Family Photos

Mark Consuelos turns 49 today, and no one is more excited to celebrate another year around the sun for the Riverdale star than his wife of more than two decades, Kelly Ripa. And as a gift to Consuelos (and the rest of us, too), Ripa created a sweet birthday video for Consuelos featuring a ton of never-been-seen family photos — including rare glimpses into the birthday guy’s childhood that are predictably adorable.
Ripa took to Instagram early Monday morning to share the video she’d created for her husband, writing, “Happy birthday @instasuelos. There’s nobody I’d rather be locked down with than you.” The montage, which lasts just over a minute, offers a wonderful window into the Ripa-Consuelos family’s world. From hanging out with friends like Andy Cohen to spending quality time with their friends on family vacation, it’s clear Consuelos is the kind of guy who is the life of the party.

Although the birthday montage consists mainly of photos of Consuelos with his wife, kids and parents, Ripa also squeezed in some priceless nostalgic memories. Among them? A wildly cute snapshot of baby Consuelos atop a rocking horse in a vintage Christmas photo, and a picture of baby Consuelos in the arms of his lookalike dad.
In response to Ripa sharing the thoughtful tribute, Consuelos commented, “Grazie Amore” — or “thank you, my love” in Italian.
To be honest, we’re impressed Ripa was able to narrow down the photos to only one-minute-worth of montage. The Live With Kelly and Ryan co-host frequently shares photos of her husband and family on Instagram, with a heavy emphasis on flirty pics of Consuelos (who’s often shirtless in them).
And while this tribute was clearly a family-centric video, we’d love to see Ripa compile all of the racy photos and comments she and Consuelos have traded on social media over the years. Because, marriage goals. Of course, that probably wouldn’t have played well with the couple’s 18-year-old daughter Lola Consuelos, who famously trolls her parents for their cheeky behavior. As recently as February, she playfully declared her parents’ sexy banter to be “absolutely repulsive.”
Ah, yes. Here’s looking forward to another year of these fun moments. Happy birthday, Consuelos!
