All parents love their children equally, right? The obvious answer is, yes, of course. Well, Kelly Ripa’s favorite kid with Mark Consuelos is Joaquin. The Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost got candid — and funny — on Wednesday’s episode where she discussed her kids and which one she liked the “best.”

We’re thinking the exchange was all in good fun. In an interview with Jersey Shore‘s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Ripa let the audience know that Joaquin stands out amongst her three kids with Consuelos. The couple — who met on the set of All My Children in 1995 before marrying in May 1996 — share sons Michael Joseph, 22, and Joaquin, 16, and daughter, Lola, 18.

During their conversation about Polizzi’s third child, Angelo, Ripa gushed about how her youngest was always the easiest of her three kids. “I hope my other kids are not watching this but they’re not. Here’s what: third kid is the best kid,” Ripa said. “They sleep, they do their homework, they pick their crap up off the floor. … They just know they’ve got to give you a break.”

The Ripa and Consuelos clan have had quite the busy few months. Their daughter, Lola, is officially a high school graduate and the famous couple shared pictures of their middle child readying for prom not too long ago. The family also went on vacation recently, where Ripa famously took on yet another troll who shamed her husband. With their kids growing up, we’ll see how long Ripa will maintain that her baby, Joaquin, is still her “best” kid.
