Kelly Ripa Melts Instagram's Heart With Snowy Throwback: 'Three Chickens, One Nest'
Kelly Ripa and her legendary throwbacks are back. The "Live! with Kelly and Ryan" host is basically Instagram's throwback queen, with today seeing the 49-year-old deliver yet another trip down memory lane.
Kelly's photo today showed her with husband Mark Consuelos and one of the couple's boys. The 2012 snap is nine years old, taking fans to a wintry and snowy day as Kelly and her family posed on a suspended swing. All three were bundled up in ski gear and looking, well, absolutely frozen.

Instagram Melts (And Thinks They Look Frozen AF)
This lot were so bundled-up, it was almost hard to see their faces, but Instagram did seem in unison when it came to agreeing that Kelly and the fam looked BONE-cold.
Kelly also seems to have melted the platform's heart.
"CUTIES," one fan wrote.
"The cutest chickens," another said.
"Awww. This is so cute" was another comment.
And yes, people have noticed that the family seemed to have frozen its socks off.
"Looks COLD," one fan stated.
People also seem to have been questioning where the photo was taken, with more than one fan querying whether the snap was taken in Colorado.
Instagram's Throwback Queen – Watch Your Back, Kim K
Celebrities may be majorly into the throwback trend, but even Hollywood's elite faces stiff competition once you factor Kelly in. Kim Kardashian and her sisters are giant throwback lovers, but even the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" stars aren't quite as regular as Kelly when it comes to old-school snaps.
Thanksgiving 2019 brought a 2011 throwback from Kelly. National Daughter's Day brought similar as Kelly shared a rare and old snap of herself with daughter Lola Grace. FYI, Lola's Instagram (no longer on lockdown) recently revealed that this girl can sing.
Shh...She LIKES Having Older Children
Because there's no denying that young kids are a ton of work. Kelly's January interview with The Cut saw the television host reveal the "joys" of having older children.
"I can say, 100 percent, my schedule is easier now. There was a 15-year period where I went to work and then I’d head right to my kids’ school or a sporting event or made sure I was at the concert," Kelly said.
"Now that I’ve got one kid that’s almost done with college, one that’s going into college, and one that is halfway through his sophomore year of high school, I have a lot more time to free me up to do other projects. Maybe start acting again, who knows," she added.
And That Was Before Lola Grace Flew The Nest
Kelly's nest is getting progressively more empty. Daughter Lola Grace is now a college student, although the 18-year-old's NYU choice does mean that she's near home.
In fact, with husband Mark Consuelos frequently away as he shoots "Riverdale," Kelly sometimes needs to resort to technology to keep in touch with her hunk of a man.
"We definitely text a lot because usually one of us is on set and I’m three hours ahead of him, time-wise. On Riverdale, they shoot at night a lot. He’s usually working at 2, 3, 4 in the morning. Sometimes it’s great for me because I’m up and on my way to work and sometimes it’s in the middle of the night," Kelly told The Cut.
