Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are celebrating 28 years of marriage today so we’re throwing it back to the adorable moment they recreated their wedding photos back in February.
For the Hollywood power couple, their Vegas wedding in 1996 will always have a special place in their hearts. And, in February, the couple revisited their wedding venue and shared the experience with their followers.

In the first February 28 post on Instagram, the two recreated a wedding picture of them looking into each other’s eyes inside the chapel. “Viva Las Vegas ✨,” the couple wrote in their joint post. “Then ➡️ Now.”
In the captions, followers are loving how in love they look, both then and now. “Beautiful couple, beautiful love story, and beautiful family!” wrote one commenter. “You can tell how much they still love and adore each other even after all these years! 😍🙌🙌😍 ”
Talking to People about their special day on February 23, Ripa only had wonderful memories to share. “It was really romantic, though. It was very sweet,” Ripa told the outlet. “We cherish those memories, still to this day. It’s been 28 years and we still can remember every minute of that wedding. And I mean, it was really minutes. It was like two minutes!”
Also in their walk down memory lane, the Live With Kelly and Mark co-hosts, who also shared their experience on their show, went on to officiate the wedding of another lucky couple.
“Congratulations to Mr. And Mrs. Santiago!” they wrote alongside a video compilation on Instagram. “It was an honor to officiate your wedded bliss! Another Chapel Of the Bells love story begins ♥️💕💒.”
“This morning made me sob!!!” wrote one loyal viewer of their show. “That Chapel is where magic happens!!!!! ❤”
“It was really fascinating for us to watch this young couple,” Ripa told Entertainment Tonight of her role as officiant. “They reminded us so much of us, you know? It was like looking back at a 28-year time warp.” How precious!
