Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Go 'Adult Onset Adventuring' in Iceland: See Their Cute, Frosty Photos!

The 'Live with Kelly and Mark' co-hosts went snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and kayaking amid the country's stunning wintry landscapes

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos embraced the winter weather this past weekend and headed to Iceland.

The couple, who have been married for 27 years, shared several updates from their adventurous trip to the island nation on the edge of the Arctic Circle. Ripa shared a series of photos to her Instagram Stories and a Reel.

In the video, Ripa, 53, showed the couple posing together during their many outdoor activities and relaxing in a cabin and hot tub — plus a snap of Consuelos, 52, speeding on a snowmobile.

In Ripa’s Instagram Story, she shared a selfie of the Live with Kelly and Mark co-hosts smiling as they’re bundled up close to one another — with a scenic shot of the volcanic island's mountains in the background.

“What a weekend,” wrote Ripa. She also tagged her husband and Iceland's official Instagram in the Story.

In the next snapshot, Ripa and Consuelos are unrecognizable. The pair show off their matching snowsuits, blue goggles and black helmets. They posed in front of a small cottage wedged in between the snowy hills. 

The duo then revealed why they sported the head-to-toe outfits and posed on snowmobiles that created a distinct trail throughout the snowy terrain. Ripa captioned the Story, “Adult onset adventuring.”

While summer is the most popular time to visit Iceland, winter offers some exclusive activities, including snowmobiling, exploring seasonal ice caves and viewing the northern lights, or Aurora Borealis, during the long nights.

During the country's few hours of low winter sunlight, the couple also attempted some cross-country skiing. In a photo of the two, Ripa is seen smiling while wearing the blue snowsuit and a balaclava. Meanwhile, Consuelos endured the cold in a red snow jacket and ski pants.

"Advanced Adult onset adventuring,” Ripa captioned the Story of the often physically demanding activity.

Amid their snowy adventures, the duo went kayaking on a lake. In one photo, the couple beams in their life vests ahead of their boating adventure. In a follow-up Story, they pose in their respective kayaks on the icy water. Consuelos holds up his oar in the background while Ripa waves to the camera.

She also added Michael Kiwanuka’s “Cold Little Heart” as the soundtrack playing throughout each of the Stories.

Ahead of their icy adventure, the couple shared an Instagram post from a warmer vacation at the start of the year. In the snap, the couple showed off their beach bodies as they stood in front of an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Ripa wore a black, strapless one-piece swimsuit with a white floral pattern, which she accessorized with a pair of dark shades.

As for Consuelos, he went shirtless in a pair of simple black trunks.
