Kelly Ripa calls Mark Consuelos' feet 'monstrous,' says they might not be together if they met 'feet first'

"I always talk about how handsome you are and how sexy you are," Ripa said. "Mark’s feet are a different story."

Only one thing can potentially break the bond shared between Live cohosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' amid their 28-year marriage: Consuelos' feet.

After Consuelos admitted that his "foot hurts" on Monday's episode of the long-running talk show, the celebrity couple — affectionately known as morning TV's horniest pair — traded opinions on each other's feet live on the air.

"He came to me, was it Saturday morning? He goes, 'Look at this, look at this foot, now look at this foot.' Mark is very handsome and I always talk about how handsome you are and how sexy you are, so I go into this with a clean conscience," Ripa told the audience. "Mark’s feet are a different story. If I had met him feet first, we might not be together today."

Ripa got one final jab in after Consuelos laughed and told his wife that she has "beautiful feet," to which she responded: "I don’t think my feet are beautiful, but they’re not monstrous!"

Ripa later elaborated that Consuelos was concerned that one foot was swollen more than the other one — a potential ailment guest Jimmy Kimmel probed into later in the episode.

The Jimmy Kimmel Live host and comedian brought up Ripa's comments about her husband's feet in the first portion of his interview, and later asked, "Are we going to see those feet at all?" in the middle of the back half of his chat with the hosts.

Consuelos then reminded Kimmel that his feet have been shown on air before — including during a 2023 segment that saw Ripa and Consuelos trade sensual foot massages during a broadcast.

"Get ready, all you WikiFeet weirdos," Ripa said during the August 2023 segment, before jumping into a chair and allowing Consuelos to rub her soles. "This is hard for him, because he's never done any foot work without expecting some sort of sexual encounter on the flip side."

Whatever floats the couple's boat is clearly working. The duo recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary by returning to the chapel where they first wed in secret in 1996, after becoming romantically involved as costars on the set of their soap opera All My Children. There, they passed the baton to a young couple, whose nuptials Ripa and Consuelos officiated.
