How well-liked are the 10 most probable potential replacements for Michael Strahan? The Q Scores company has some insights into who might soon share the stage with Kelly Ripa.

Celebrities Positive Q Scores essentially measure how well-liked they are among a cross-section of Americans. The New Jersey-based group also tallies how recognizable a celebrity is.

Here’s how the marketing firm arrives at its results for its clients, which include television networks, among others: President Henry Schafer and his team provide a star’s name and a brief description to more than 1,800 study participants. The viewers are then asked if they know the person. If so, are they among their favorites? Or do the respondents maybe strongly dislike the individual?

The outcomes of that study are a Recognition score, a Positive Q Score and a Negative Q Score. We worked with the first two for this story.

TheWrap chose the 10 possible “Live With Kelly” co-hosts in the gallery below based on their number of guest appearances — both the ones that have already happened, and the ones that are scheduled. We also looked at the potential co-hosts availability, and their relationships with Ripa.

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are probably a bit too busy to join “Live With Kelly,” but their personal friendships with Ripa could make them more willing to miss sleep to join her show. And Mark Consuelos is her husband, for goodness sake.

Jussie Smollett and Morris Chestnut both have Fox TV gigs, but the singer/actor has teased possibly leaving “Empire,” and Chestnut’s “Rosewood” looks to be at risk of cancellation.

Anyway, maybe we’re right, maybe we’re wrong — it’s still too early to call. One thing we know for sure: Fred Savage‘s Q Score sure ain’t gonna help his chances.
