Kelly Dodd Calls Shannon Beador a C-Word, Drama Ensues
Monday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County was loaded (in more ways than one) with confrontational fireworks. Despite all the women agreeing that this season was gonna be drama-free — but like for real, like seriously — things got pretty ugly when the vodka, sake, and champagne started flowing at Meghan Edmonds’s IVF dinner.
To celebrate Meghan’s last night of drinking, before trying to have a baby, the gang all met up for a sushi dinner. As the night progressed and people’s cheeks got rosy, Kelly Dodd had just enough liquid encouragement to settle some beef she had with Shannon. Backstory: At another event, Kelly had badmouthed Shannon and her husband, which led to one of Shannon’s friend insinuating that Kelly performs sexual favors to facilitate her lavish lifestyle.
An “overserved” Kelly tried to bring up the old issue across the sushi table. Shannon countered by asking, “Are you gonna start yelling at me again?” To which Kelly responded, “Shut the f*** up. You’re a frickin’ c***, is what you are.”
Dropping the C-word didn’t go over too well with the guest of honor, Meghan, nor did it go over well with Heather Dubrow, who told Kelly, “I think that you are probably a very good person at heart, [but] this behavior is not acceptable. Leave.” Kelly then turned her sights on Heather, the one who ended up leaving in tears.
Kelly did attempt to apologize to Shannon, but the apology was in no way accepted, because RHOC.
