Kelly Clarkson is many things: multi-platinum selling artist, three-time Grammy winner, beloved mentor onThe Voice and of course, successful talk show host. However, her most prized role is being mom to her two kids, daughter River Rose, 9, and son Remington "Remy" Alexander, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

In her 2024 cover story for PEOPLE, the "Since You've Been Gone" singer opened up about watching her kids watch her perform — and how it transformed her feelings.

“I was like, ‘I feel like how you’re looking at me is how you watch Spider-Man,’ ” Clarkson recalled. “It caught me completely off guard, and it was the most magical moment because they were so happy and at ease. They were just in awe.”

Clearly, the apple doesn't fall too far from the musical tree, as River looked particularly comfortable while taking the stage with her superstar mom during her Las Vegas residency back in August. Little brother Remy also displayed some serious dance moves at the same show.

Prior to their moments in the spotlight, the siblings posed for an adorable picture backstage. "Both of my kiddos backstage getting ready to join me on stage in Vegas ❤️ nothing will ever be as cool and amazing as these two little humans that will always have my whole heart," Clarkson wrote.

Judging by Remy's expression, the trio was swapping some juicy secrets during a taping of the Kelly Clarkson Show.
