Part one of the live Voice finale took place Monday night as the final five contestants took the stage performing their hearts out for the title of The Voice.

While all the performances were so good that some viewers had a hard time choosing their favorite, it's safe to say Kelly Clarkson was blown away the most by her own contestant, Desz, whose first performance of the night had her coach completely in tears.

"Um," Clarkson started before her voice broke. The coach had a hard time continuing as she shared, "I needed that song. I know you needed that song. And you did such a beautiful thing. Like, I know it's for the finale and everything, but everybody needs that message, right now and you're, hands down, the greatest vocalist I've ever worked with on this show. You're crazy talented. I'm so proud I get to be your coach."

Desz was also in tears during what turned out to be a very sweet and personal moment between the singer and her coach. In fact, viewers at home were crying as well, as most fans know Clarkson has had a particularly challenging and emotional year. In September, Clarkson admitted that her life "has been a little bit of a dumpster" since filing for divorce, and on Monday, one person tweeted the singer: "@kellyclarkson crying on #TheVoice saying she “needed that song” just broke me. Kelly, I know you probably won’t see this but I hope the world sees this and agrees that we are all behind you and giving you the biggest hug. We love you girl."
