Spilling the beans! Kelly Clarkson held nothing back during an “Ask Me Anything” segment on her show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. During the digital-only Q&A session, the former American Idol star opened up about her sex life with husband Brandon Blackstock after being asked by The Voice season 14 winner, Brynn Cartelli about her bedtime routine.

“What is the last thing you do before you go to bed every night?” she asked. “Is there one thing?”

While we’re assuming the 16-year-old was expecting an answer along the lines of a beauty ritual or a late night snack, she quickly realized Kelly’s response was headed in a dirtier direction. “Oh, no. Do I not wanna know this?” she asked.

The mother-of-two giggled and proceeded to shed a little light on her very active sex life. “Well, Brynn, I was single for many years. So, I have children [now], and how one makes children is generally what I do before bed. That’s not a lie, that’s real! And it’s not weird, it’s natural.”

“And this is why America loves you!” Brynn replied.

While the talk show host’s sex life is alive and well, she has no desire to have any more kids. In fact, after welcoming baby No. 2 in April 2016, she asked her husband to get a vasectomy. “This will never happen again,” she told her husband after getting pregnant for the second time — and for good reason. Kelly has been vocal about her unpleasant pregnancies, and how she suffered from severe morning sickness. During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres back in 2013, she opened up about the “horrible” time she had while pregnant with her first-born.

“It’s so bad. It’s so bad. I know it’s, like, so gross. And that’s the thing, too — you’re not attractive when you’re pregnant. Everybody tells you [that] you glow and you’re hair is pretty and you’re nails are pretty. That’s total crap. My nails are short, my hair still falls out, like, it’s not all lush and beautiful and I have no glow. Unless it’s, like, something left over from a bad throw up. It’s horrible.”
