Kelly Clarkson is ahead of the curve.

While the singer has long been known for her stellar fashion sense, she recently proved that she’s on the pulse of what’s trending yet again by wearing two iterations of the fashion find we’ll see everywhere this spring: denim dresses.

On February 21, Clarkson wore a collared button-up version of the one-and-done closet staple teamed with a black belt and red platform heels while hosting an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Prior to that, she went for a completely different look when layering a Vici button-down denim dress over a white long-sleeve pussybow blouse.

Clarkson isn’t the only one who’s gotten in on the denim craze by reaching for a breezy jean dress — Jennifer Lopez, Michelle Obama, and Martha Stewart are fans of the trend, too. And while there is certainly no shortage of silhouettes to choose from, Clarkson’s button-down styles are great for layering, making them ideal for tricky transitional spring weather and beyond.

We rounded up denim dresses similar to Clarkson’s on Amazon, and prices start at just $32.

It doesn’t get breezier than a babydoll dress, and this jean version is practically begging to be worn on a warm spring day. While the denim minidress is shorter than Clarkson’s, it has a similar button-up design and sits at the “perfect length,” according to shoppers. Plus, it’s racked up more than 1,500 perfect ratings from shoppers who highlight its “flattering” fit, “lightweight” feel, and “thick” material in reviews.

“This is my go-to, everyday dress. It is so comfortable and very well-made,” one reviewer wrote. “I can dress it up with shoes and wear it to dinner or casually to the grocery store in flip-flops.”

With over 1,600 five-star ratings, this denim dress is popular among Amazon shoppers due to its “soft, silky material” and “expensive” look. Its maxi length and button-up design are super similar to Clarkson’s dresses, and shoppers note that it looks great when paired with a belt — so you can choose between replicating the singer’s waist-cinching silhouette or opting for a breezier fit.

“I absolutely love this dress,” one reviewer wrote. “I throw on a pair of sneakers and I'm good to go… From brunch to the mall to running errands, this dress fits the bill.”

For those looking for a long-sleeve denim dress, consider this option from Amazon. Not only is it available in sizes XS to XXL and two classic washes, including a mid-denim wash that closely resembles Clarkson’s, but its collar, breast pockets, and waist-defining belt look just like the singer’s.

“This dress was a total surprise,” one reviewer wrote. “A few [of my] friends bought the same dress — we all are different body shapes — and [it] looks great on each of us. Well made and the snaps stay closed.”
