Kelly Clarkson is sharing new insight into her health journey. The music superstar and TV host opened up in a candid conversation with Whoopi Goldberg on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," confirming that she's been taking a weight-loss drug that's not only helped her slim down but also assist her overall well-being. Kelly clarified that she was hesitant to start medication at first but ultimately decided with her doctor that it was the best course of action. "My doctor chased me for like two years and I was like, 'No, I’m afraid of it. I already have thyroid problems,'" she said, adding, "Everybody thinks it's Ozempic. It's not." The 42-year-old did not specify which drug she was prescribed but explained that "it's something that aids in helping break down the sugar – obviously my body doesn't do it right." Kelly explained that she weighed just over 200 pounds at her heaviest and realized it was time to make a change when she didn't recognize herself on screen.
