Kelly Clarkson Recreates Dolly Parton's '9 to 5' to Hype Talk Show

Kelly Clarkson covered Dolly Parton’s classic “9 to 5” in a new music video, to promote her new talk show.

The singer is set to launch the highly anticipated “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on September 9.

In Clarkson’s video, it starts with Clarkson waking out of bed. She then stumbles to the kitchen and pours some coffee.

She slowly gets ready for her day and takes a shower. We then see Clarkson take on a variety of jobs including; mechanic, waitress, construction worker, firefighter and a police officer.

Clarkson also covered Parton's song "Jolene" back in 2015.

Clarkson has been slowly teasing the show and even recently revealed the look of her gorgeous set, which includes a live band playing her intro and outros. The walls are even covered in gold and platinum records.

Sources confirmed to The Blast, Clarkson is set to have an "American Idol" reunion with Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson joining her on the show.

Sources close to production tell The Blast that everyone is very excited for Kelly and she has been a joy to work with.

Clarkson has been getting support from her celebrity friends ahead of the premiere.

Her first guest will be The Rock, who stepped him for Kevin Hart following his car crash.

The show is going full force with NBCUniversal locking down 200-plus stations for the launch of "The Kelly Clarkson Show," meaning it will air in 99% of the country. She will be the lead-in for "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in most markets.

NBC announced the show stating, “In each episode, audiences will experience an hour full of remarkable stories, celebrity guests, spontaneous surprises, humor, heart and, of course, good music! It’s like a weekday brunch party with a fascinating guest list of people who would otherwise never meet."
