Kelly Clarkson is sharing holiday-themed advice with her fans!

In a new segment from The Kelly Clarkson Show shared on YouTube Thursday, Clarkson, 41, fielded questions from viewers who are encountering uncomfortable and bizarre situations this Thanksgiving. In one instance, a fan who called in said that their second cousin insisted on giving a blow-up doll that he calls his girlfriend a seat at the dinner table last year. This caller asked for advice on how to deal with the cousin's request this time around.

"So here’s the thing: my second cousin started dating a blow-up doll. Yes, an inanimate object - a blow-up doll named Pippa, and last year brought her to Thanksgiving and expected - really demanded - that we find a chair for her to sit at at the table," the caller said.

“Is this real?” Clarkson asked while listening to the audio submission.

"As loving and accepting people, how do we address this situation this year?" the caller asked Clarkson. "The kids were so confused. Heck, I was so confused.”

Fortunately for one cousin, Clarkson suggested that Pippa the blow-up doll should receive a warm welcome back for the annual holiday.

“I think I would lean in. I think I would just be like, 'What’s up, Pippa? What’s new this holiday season?' " Clarkson said.

"Look, it’s just interesting, but I would want this family member at my dinner, ‘cause I think that would be fun and not boring," she added. "Pippa is invited. That’s fun. Weird, but fun. I’m down.”

Another fan who called in for the segment asked Clarkson whether he should propose to his girlfriend during this year's family Thanksgiving celebrations just one year after another member of the family popped the question to his girlfriend and was turned down.

"There are so many things wrong with this situation," Clarkson quipped, before sharing that she does not think a Thanksgiving dinner proposal in front of the entire family is "very romantic."

“In my opinion, [marriage proposals] should be a personal thing," she said. "I think when you do grand gestures like that, it’s more for, like, to be showy, and that’s gross to me. Just to me, maybe everybody else likes it, but I think it is better when it’s a more intimate moment."
