Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine fight over 'Voice' contestant

It wasn’t really a fair fight for Adam Levine on The Voice as everyone seemed to rally behind Kelly Clarkson. The two were fighting to steal Jordyn Simone, who along with Kelsea Johnson delivered a fun performance of En Vogue‘s “Don’t Let Go.” Since Alicia Keys chose Kelsea as the winner, Jordyn became available for the other coaches to steal.

Adam vs. Kelly

Adam and Kelly both attempted to steal Jordyn, although Adam was quick to point out that he was the only coach who thought she won that battle. “I also said, decisively, before she [Alicia] chose, that I would go with you,” Adam told Jordyn. But Kelly wasn’t giving up without a fight, as she asked Adam, “Can you sing some En Vogue? I’m just saying. Break out some Billy Idol, do it, but I got En Vogue, I’m just saying.” And Kelly wasn’t the only one to make fun of Adam for his bleached-blond hair. Blake Shelton did his best Billy Idol impression when he told Adam, “Maybe you should start again.”

Despite Kelly and Blake’s attempts to undermine Adam, Jordyn went with the guy who thought she was a winner from the get-go — and it turned out that they might just be made for each other. When they hugged backstage, Adam said, “We’re both wearing leather. We’re both looking fly. We’re both looking good on TV right now. We were meant to be.”
